Description

Indulge in the whimsical delight of Blue Raspberry Cotton Candy Clouds, a fluffy and fun ice cream that brings the carnival to your home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy cream (cold)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cotton candy extract (optional, for extra carnival flavor)
  • Blue food coloring (gel or liquid)
  • ½ cup raspberry purée (strained for smoothness)
  • A few drops pink food coloring (for contrast)
  • 1 cup cotton candy (pink or blue, torn into pieces)
  • Mini marshmallows or white chocolate pearls (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, and cotton candy extract until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add a few drops of blue food coloring and mix until the desired pastel shade is reached.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 2–3 hours until cold.
  4. Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions (about 20–25 minutes) until thick and creamy.
  5. Transfer half of the churned ice cream into a freezer-safe container.
  6. Drizzle with raspberry purée (tinted with pink food coloring if desired) and swirl gently with a knife.
  7. Add some torn pieces of cotton candy and fold lightly.
  8. Repeat with the remaining ice cream and more swirls.
  9. Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours or until scoopable.
  10. Scoop into bowls, top with mini marshmallows or candy pearls, and garnish with extra cotton candy clouds for a whimsical look.

Notes

  • For a more intense flavor, consider adding more cotton candy extract.
  • Ensure the raspberry purée is well-strained for a smooth texture.
  • Feel free to customize the toppings based on your preference.
