Brownie Sundae Cookies are a delicious treat that combines the rich flavors of brownie cookies with the classic sundae toppings, creating a dessert that is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225 g) semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Vanilla ice cream (small scoops)
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (for drizzle)
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • Maraschino cherries (with stems)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate together in a bowl over simmering water (or microwave in 20-sec bursts). Stir until smooth.
  3. Whisk in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Fold dry mixture into chocolate mixture until combined.
  6. Scoop dough into large rounds on baking sheet. Flatten slightly.
  7. Bake 10–12 minutes until set but soft in the center. Cool completely.
  8. Melt chocolate chips with heavy cream until smooth. Let cool slightly (so it’s thick but pourable).
  9. Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream on each cooled brownie cookie.
  10. Drizzle with melted chocolate and top with a maraschino cherry.

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate instead of semisweet chocolate.
