Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 ½ cups crushed Butterfinger bars (about 5–6 full-size bars)
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips (or semi-sweet, if preferred)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional, for a shinier coating)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat together peanut butter and softened butter until smooth and creamy.
- Add the powdered sugar gradually and mix until fully combined.
- Fold in the crushed Butterfinger pieces.
- Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into smooth balls.
- Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Freeze for 20–25 minutes, or until firm.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30-second bursts, stirring each time until smooth.
- Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each chilled peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate until evenly coated.
- Place them back on parchment paper and let the excess chocolate drip off.
- Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens (about 15–20 minutes).
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
- For a different flavor, try using dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate.
- Make sure to use a good quality peanut butter for the best taste.
- These treats can be frozen for longer storage.
