Description

Caramelized Banana Cheesecake Bliss is a decadent dessert featuring a creamy cheesecake filling, a buttery graham cracker crust, and sweet caramelized bananas, all drizzled with rich caramel sauce.

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • Cheesecake Filling
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • Caramelized Bananas
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced into thick rounds
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp rum or vanilla extract (optional)
  • Caramel Sauce Drizzle
  • ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Make the Crust: Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Mix graham crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until sandy. Press firmly into bottom of springform pan. Bake 8 minutes, then cool.
  2. Prepare Cheesecake: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream, vanilla, and flour; mix well. Add eggs one at a time, mixing gently until combined. Pour batter over cooled crust. Bake 55–60 minutes, until center is just set. Turn off oven, crack door, and let cheesecake rest 1 hour. Chill at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Caramelize Bananas: In skillet, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Add bananas, cook 2–3 minutes until golden and coated. Stir in cream, salt, and rum/vanilla. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Assemble & Serve: Spoon caramelized bananas over chilled cheesecake. Drizzle with caramel sauce. Slice and enjoy!

  • Feel free to use homemade caramel sauce for added flavor.
