Description

Cheesecake Crescent Delights are a simple and delicious sweet treat made with crescent roll dough and a creamy cheesecake filling.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough (or puff pastry sheets)
  • 16 oz (450 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk until smooth and creamy.
  4. Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish, sealing seams.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  6. Unroll the second crescent dough and place it on top, sealing seams gently.
  7. Brush the top with melted butter.
  8. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon (if using).
  9. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
  10. Cool for at least 20 minutes before cutting into squares.
  11. Dust generously with powdered sugar.
  12. Serve warm or chilled.

  • For a richer flavor, consider adding lemon zest to the cream cheese mixture.
  • These can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
