Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks with Marinara Dip are a delicious and irresistible appetizer or snack, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
- 1 cup warm water (110°F / 45°C)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
- 1 ½ cups canned crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp sugar
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy.
- Stir in flour, olive oil, and salt. Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth.
- Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll dough into a rectangle (about 9×13 inches). Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Mix melted butter and minced garlic, then brush evenly over dough.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese generously over the top.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Remove and sprinkle with parsley. Slice into breadsticks.
- In a saucepan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Serve warm alongside cheesy breadsticks.
Notes
- For a spicier dip, add red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce.
- Store leftover breadsticks in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
- Reheat breadsticks in the oven for best results.
