Description

Warm, buttery toasted English muffins stacked with juicy sausage patties, melty cheddar cheese, and a freshly cooked egg. Easy to make, freezer-friendly, and better than any drive-thru breakfast — guaranteed.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 46 English muffins (or biscuit-style buns)
  • 46 breakfast sausage patties
  • 46 eggs
  • 46 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter (for toasting)
  • Salt + pepper to taste
  • Optional add-ons:
  • Hot sauce
  • Maple syrup drizzle
  • Sautéed onions
  • Toasted cinnamon butter

Instructions

  1. Slice muffins in half.
  2. Spread the cut sides with butter.
  3. Toast on a hot skillet until deeply golden and crisp.
  4. Cook sausage patties in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
  5. Lower heat and add one slice of cheddar on each patty so it melts slightly.
  6. In the same skillet, lightly butter and crack eggs in.
  7. Cook sunny-side, fried, or flip for over-medium (best for stacking).
  8. Season with salt + pepper.
  9. Stack like a beautiful breakfast tower: Buttered muffin ⟶ cheese-topped sausage ⟶ egg ⟶ top muffin.
  10. Press gently so everything melts together.
