- ½ cup (100 g) sugar
- 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 tbsp (56 g) melted butter
- 8 oz (226 g) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup (60 g) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or puff pastry (8 oz / 226 g)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini bundt pan or mini muffin tin.
- In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
- Beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Transfer to a piping bag.
- Unroll crescent dough or puff pastry.
- Spread a thin layer of cream cheese filling over the dough.
- Roll up tightly into a log and slice into ½-inch pieces.
- Place slices into prepared mini bundt or muffin cavities.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While warm, brush each bite with melted butter, then roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- For extra cream cheese filling in the center, use a piping bag to inject a bit more into each baked bite.
Notes
- Ensure the cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
- For a richer flavor, use unsalted butter.
- These bites are best served warm.
