  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing included)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • Extra cinnamon-sugar mix for sprinkling
  • Cream cheese icing (from cinnamon roll package or homemade)
  • Powdered sugar (optional for dusting)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter with brown sugar, cream, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  2. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened.
  3. Pour into the bottom of a greased bundt pan or pie dish.
  4. Open cinnamon roll dough and cut each roll into halves or quarters.
  5. Arrange pieces over the caramel mixture in the pan.
  6. Sprinkle with nuts if using.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let cool for 10 minutes, then carefully invert onto a serving plate (so the sticky caramel side is on top).
  10. Drizzle with cream cheese icing.
  11. Add a dusting of powdered sugar if desired.
  12. Serve warm and pull-apart style.
