Description

Cinnamon Roll French Toast Roll-Ups are a delightful twist on traditional French toast, combining the flavors of cinnamon rolls with the fun of roll-ups.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slices soft white bread (crusts removed)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk (adjust for consistency)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Roll-Ups: Roll each slice of bread flat with a rolling pin. Mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon into a spread. Spread mixture onto bread slices, then roll up tightly.
  2. French Toast Dip: In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar, and cinnamon. Dip each roll-up into the mixture, coating all sides.
  3. Cook: Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Grease lightly with butter. Cook roll-ups, turning often, until golden brown and crisp on all sides (about 2–3 minutes per side).
  4. Glaze: Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm roll-ups.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of milk in the glaze for desired consistency.
  • These roll-ups can be served with fresh fruit or syrup for added flavor.
