Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll puff pastry slightly on a floured surface and cut into rectangles or squares.
- In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, sour cream, vanilla, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy.
- Place pastry squares on a lined baking sheet.
- Spoon cream cheese filling in the center of each.
- Fold or twist edges if desired (or leave open-style for a classic bakery look).
- Brush pastry edges with egg wash.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, until pastry is golden brown and puffed.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla into a smooth glaze.
