- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp peppermint extract (adjust — peppermint is strong)
- 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream, cold
- A few drops pink gel food coloring
- ½–¾ cup crushed candy canes (folded in)
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup heavy whipping cream, cold
- Crushed candy canes (for topping)
- Whipped cream swirls (pipe using star tip)
- Optional: drizzle of white chocolate
Instructions
- Make the Crust: Combine cookie crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press firmly into the bottom of an 8×8 pan lined with parchment. Freeze for 10 minutes to set.
- Peppermint Layer: Beat cream cheese until completely smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and peppermint extract. In another bowl, whip cold heavy cream to stiff peaks. Fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture. Add pink gel color until pastel pink. Fold in crushed candy canes. Spread over crust. Freeze or chill while preparing top layer.
- White Cream Layer: Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Whip cold heavy cream to stiff peaks. Fold together until silky. Spread gently over pink layer.
- Chill: Refrigerate at least 6 hours, or overnight for the cleanest slice.
- Garnish & Slice: Pipe whipped cream swirls on top. Sprinkle crushed candy canes. Slice with a hot knife, cleaning between cuts for sharp squares.

- Adjust the amount of peppermint extract to taste, as it can be quite strong.
- For best results, use cold heavy cream for whipping.
- Let the bars chill overnight for the best texture and flavor.
