Instructions
- Slice onions into rings and separate layers.

- Slowly whisk in sparkling water until smooth (batter should be slightly thick).
- Dip onion rings into batter, letting excess drip off.
- Roll in panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
- Heat oil in a deep pot to 180°C (350°F).
- Fry onion rings in small batches for 2–3 minutes, until golden and crisp.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Sprinkle lightly with salt and serve hot with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
