A delightful and easy-to-make Neapolitan sheet cake featuring layers of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry flavors, perfect for any occasion.

- 250 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 200 g (1 cup) granulated sugar
- 120 g (½ cup) unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 180 ml (¾ cup) milk
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for chocolate swirl)
- 150 g (5 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 100 g (½ cup) unsalted butter, softened
- 300 g (2 ½ cups) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for chocolate portion)
- Red or pink food coloring (for strawberry portion)
- 100 g (1 cup) fresh strawberries, diced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- Mix in dry ingredients alternately with milk until smooth.
- Divide batter: leave ⅔ plain (vanilla) and mix ⅓ with cocoa powder.
- Spread vanilla batter into the prepared pan.
- Spoon chocolate batter in dollops, then swirl lightly with a knife.
- Bake 25–30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely.
- Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix until fluffy.
- Divide frosting into 3 bowls: leave one plain (vanilla), add cocoa powder to one for chocolate, and tint one with food coloring for strawberry.
- Spread or swirl the three frostings across the cooled cake in sections.
- Add fresh strawberries on top for garnish.

- Feel free to adjust the amount of food coloring based on your preference.
