- 1 package pre-made mini tart shells (or homemade pastry dough)
- 1 egg wash (1 egg + 1 tbsp water, beaten)
- 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Holiday sprinkles (red, green, gold)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and brush tart shells lightly with egg wash.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp. Let cool.
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and zest. Cook over medium heat until berries burst and mixture thickens.
- Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until glossy. Cool completely before filling tart shells.
- Whip cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Transfer to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
- Fill each tart shell with cranberry mixture and pipe whipped cream swirls on top. Decorate with festive sprinkles.

- For a homemade tart shell, use your favorite pastry dough recipe.
- Ensure the cranberry filling is completely cooled before filling the tart shells to prevent sogginess.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness of the cranberry filling by adding more or less sugar based on your taste.
