Description

Crispy, juicy chicken wings baked to perfection with golden roasted baby potatoes, all coated in a flavorful garlic-herb marinade. A hearty one-pan dinner that’s both comforting and irresistible.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 kg (2.2 lbs) chicken wings or drumettes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp ketchup (or BBQ sauce)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional for heat)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 700 g (1.5 lbs) baby potatoes, halved
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme (or rosemary)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Fresh thyme or parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, honey, ketchup, garlic, paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Add chicken wings, toss well, and marinate at least 30 minutes (or overnight in the fridge).
  2. In another bowl, toss halved baby potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking tray with parchment. Arrange marinated chicken wings around the edges of the tray. Place seasoned potatoes in the center.
  4. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping chicken halfway, until golden and crispy.
  5. Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley. Serve hot with extra dipping sauce if desired.

Notes

  • For best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
  • Adjust the chili flakes according to your heat preference.
  • Feel free to substitute baby potatoes with other types of potatoes.
