Description

Garlic-Butter Cheeseburger Bombs are delicious, bite-sized treats filled with a savory beef mixture and topped with a flavorful garlic butter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (80/20)
  • ½ small onion, finely diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough or pizza dough (810 pieces)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is soft.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds more.
  3. Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1–2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  4. Let the mixture cool slightly, then stir in shredded cheese.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Flatten each biscuit or dough piece into a small circle.
  7. Spoon 1–2 tablespoons of beef mixture into the center.
  8. Fold dough over filling and pinch to seal. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and sesame seeds (if using).
  10. Brush each dough ball generously with garlic butter.
  11. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown.
  12. Brush with any remaining garlic butter before serving.
  13. Best enjoyed warm with ketchup, burger sauce, or ranch for dipping.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add some diced jalapeños to the filling.
  • These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
  • Experiment with different cheeses for varied flavors.
