Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- ½ small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 12 mozzarella cheese cubes (or cut string cheese into chunks)
- 1 can (12-count) refrigerated dinner roll dough or brioche slider rolls (unbaked)
- 1 egg, beaten (egg wash)
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp freshly grated parmesan
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp parsley (fresh or dried)
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook ground beef + onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease. Add garlic, Worcestershire, paprika, salt, pepper. Cook 1–2 minutes more. Let cool slightly.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Flatten each piece of roll dough into a small circle. Add 1 tbsp beef mixture + 1 cheese cube to center. Pinch dough closed tightly to seal. Place seam-side-down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush tops with egg wash. Bake 12–16 minutes, until golden brown.
- Mix melted butter + garlic powder + parmesan + parsley. Brush generously over warm rolls. Sprinkle extra parmesan to finish.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce for extra flavor.
