Description

A delicious and visually stunning Golden Oreo Drizzle Cake, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk, room temperature
  • 1 cup crushed Golden Oreos (about 1012 cookies)
  • 1 ½ cups unsalted butter, softened (for frosting)
  • 5 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 3 tbsp heavy cream (for frosting)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • Pinch of salt (for frosting)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (for ganache)
  • ½ cup heavy cream (for ganache)
  • Whipped cream swirls (for decoration)
  • Whole Golden Oreos (for garnish)
  • Crushed Golden Oreos (for sides and topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line three 8-inch round cake pans with parchment.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until pale and fluffy (3–4 min). Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  4. Alternate adding flour mixture and buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour. Gently fold in crushed Oreos.
  5. Divide batter into pans and bake 25–30 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
  6. Beat butter until smooth and creamy for the frosting.
  7. Gradually add powdered sugar. Add cream, vanilla, and salt. Beat until fluffy.
  8. Place first cake layer on stand, spread frosting evenly. Repeat with second and third layers.
  9. Frost entire cake smoothly. Press crushed Oreos around the bottom edge. Chill 30 min to set.
  10. Heat cream until steaming (not boiling). Pour over white chocolate chips. Stir until smooth.
  11. Let cool until slightly thickened but pourable.
  12. Drip ganache over chilled cake edges with a spoon or squeeze bottle.
  13. Pipe whipped cream swirls on top.
  14. Garnish with whole Golden Oreos and sprinkle extra crumbs.

Notes

  • Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for best results.
  • Chilling the cake after frosting helps set the layers and ganache.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
