Description

Juicy chicken wings grilled until crispy and smoky, then glazed with a sweet-savory honey garlic sauce that caramelizes beautifully over the flames.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
  • 1 tsp sriracha or chili flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. Toss with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for 20–30 minutes.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, sriracha, and sesame oil. Simmer 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill wings 6–8 minutes per side until charred and cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
  4. During the last 2–3 minutes of grilling, brush wings with honey-garlic glaze. Flip and brush again, letting the sauce caramelize.
  5. Transfer to a platter, drizzle with extra glaze, and sprinkle with sesame seeds and herbs.

Notes

  • For extra heat, adjust the amount of sriracha or chili flakes to taste.
  • Ensure wings are cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Marinating the wings longer can enhance the flavor.
