Description

Delicious and fluffy donuts filled with creamy cheesecake and topped with a fresh strawberry glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for thickening glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry and stir until just combined (do not overmix).
  5. Spoon batter into greased donut pans, filling each about ¾ full.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until donuts spring back when touched. Cool completely.
  7. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  8. Transfer mixture to a piping bag fitted with a small tip.
  9. In a small saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
  10. Cook over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until softened. Mash slightly.
  11. Let cool, then mix with powdered sugar until glaze consistency forms.
  12. Pipe cheesecake filling into each donut through the side or bottom.
  13. Dip tops of donuts into strawberry glaze.
  14. Allow glaze to set before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure donuts are completely cool before filling to prevent melting the cheesecake filling.
  • For a thicker glaze, add more powdered sugar as needed.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
