Description

Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread is a deliciously indulgent treat featuring soft bread filled with a creamy garlic butter mixture, perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium round bread loaf (soft dinner roll or brioche-style is best)
  • 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream (or milk)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp honey (or sugar)
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 large egg
  • Extra parsley, finely chopped (for topping)
  • Mozzarella (optional, for extra gooeyness)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Slice the bread into 6–8 wedges (like a flower) but do not cut all the way through—the base should stay intact.
  3. In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, cream, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Transfer to a piping bag and pipe filling between each bread wedge.
  5. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, garlic, mayo, honey, parsley, and egg until well combined.
  6. Dip the whole stuffed bread into the garlic butter mixture (or brush generously to coat all sides and crevices).
  7. Place on a lined baking tray.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden, crisp on the outside, and melty inside.
  9. Optionally, sprinkle mozzarella on top before baking for an extra cheesy finish.
  10. Enjoy warm, pulling apart the cheesy, garlicky wedges.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
  • Can be served as an appetizer or a side dish.
  • Best enjoyed fresh out of the oven.
