Description
Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread is a deliciously indulgent treat featuring soft bread filled with a creamy garlic butter mixture, perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium round bread loaf (soft dinner roll or brioche-style is best)
- 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp heavy cream (or milk)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp honey (or sugar)
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 large egg
- Extra parsley, finely chopped (for topping)
- Mozzarella (optional, for extra gooeyness)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Slice the bread into 6–8 wedges (like a flower) but do not cut all the way through—the base should stay intact.
- In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, cream, and vanilla until smooth.
- Transfer to a piping bag and pipe filling between each bread wedge.
- In another bowl, whisk melted butter, garlic, mayo, honey, parsley, and egg until well combined.
- Dip the whole stuffed bread into the garlic butter mixture (or brush generously to coat all sides and crevices).
- Place on a lined baking tray.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden, crisp on the outside, and melty inside.
- Optionally, sprinkle mozzarella on top before baking for an extra cheesy finish.
- Enjoy warm, pulling apart the cheesy, garlicky wedges.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
- Can be served as an appetizer or a side dish.
- Best enjoyed fresh out of the oven.
