A delicious Loaded Taco Pizza Wheel that combines the flavors of tacos and pizza for a delightful meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 large pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • 1 lb ground beef (or chicken/turkey)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade mix: cumin, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, salt)
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend (cheddar, Monterey Jack, etc.)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup diced red onion (optional)
  • ½ cup sour cream (for drizzling)
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Jalapeño slices (optional for spice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Roll out pizza dough into a large circle or wheel shape.
  3. Place on a pizza stone or baking tray. Brush with olive oil, then sprinkle garlic powder and chili powder for flavor.
  4. In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat.
  5. Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and water.
  6. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened.
  7. Spread taco meat evenly over the pizza crust.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously on top.
  9. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.
  10. Remove pizza from oven. Let cool slightly.
  11. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños.
  12. Drizzle with sour cream and garnish with cilantro.
