- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 box brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as directed)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup caramel sauce
- Flaky sea salt
- Whipped cream (or frosting swirls)
- Extra pretzel crumbs or mini pretzels for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar.
- Press firmly into the bottoms of a greased muffin tin.
- Mix brownie batter according to package or recipe.
- Spoon a small amount over each pretzel crust (about halfway full).
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth (optional cheesecake swirl).
- Add a spoonful on top of each brownie cup, swirling lightly with a toothpick.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, until set.
- Cool completely before removing from the muffin tin.
- Spoon caramel sauce over each cup.
- Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
- Add a swirl of whipped cream or frosting on top.
- Garnish with extra pretzel crumbs or mini pretzels.
