Santa Hat Brownies are a festive and delicious treat perfect for holiday celebrations, combining fudgy brownies with fresh strawberries and whipped cream to create a fun Santa hat design.

- For the Brownies:
- Box brownie mix (easy & works perfectly) or
- ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ⅓ cup (35g) cocoa powder
- ½ cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- Pinch of salt
- For the Santa Hats:
- Fresh strawberries (choose small–medium & bright red)
- 1–2 cups whipped cream or frosting (piping consistency)
- Decoration (optional, recommended):
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- White chocolate “snow” drizzle for extra cuteness
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line pan with parchment, leaving edges to lift later.
- Whisk melted butter + sugar.
- Add eggs + vanilla and whisk until slightly thick.
- Sift in cocoa + flour + salt and fold gently — don’t overmix.
- Pour into pan and bake: 8×8 pan → 22–27 minutes (fudgy). Don’t overbake → center should still look soft!
- Let cool completely before cutting.
- Wash and pat strawberries very dry.
- Slice off green tops to create a flat base.
- Cut brownies into squares.
- Pipe a circle of whipped cream/frosting in the center.
- Press a strawberry upside down into the cream.
- Add a small dot of cream on top = Santa’s pom-pom!
Notes
- Ensure brownies are completely cool before cutting to avoid crumbling.
- Choose strawberries that are bright red for the best visual appeal.
- Use a piping bag for a neat application of whipped cream or frosting.
