- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or chives, chopped
- 4 large eggs
- 1 ½ cups whole milk (or half-and-half for richer texture)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Extra shredded mozzarella for topping
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- A drizzle of olive oil or garlic butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
- Tear croissants into chunks or slice in halves and arrange them in the dish.
- In a bowl, mix mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan, and cream cheese. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, and parsley.
- Spread some cheese mixture over croissant pieces, layering evenly. Repeat with remaining croissants and cheese mixture until filled.
- Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together. Pour evenly over the layered croissants, allowing it to soak in. Press down lightly with a spatula to help the mixture absorb.
- Sprinkle extra mozzarella on top and drizzle with olive oil or brush lightly with garlic butter. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden, puffed, and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before slicing into squares or pulling apart by hand. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

- Day-old croissants work best for this recipe as they absorb the egg mixture better.
