- 1 box (9×13 inch) chocolate cake (homemade or boxed, baked & cooled)
- 3 cups (720 ml) whipped cream (or Cool Whip)
- 1 package (8 oz / 225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar
- 1 cup (240 ml) cold milk
- 1 package (3.4 oz / 96 g) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup (250 g) peanut butter, creamy
- 1 cup chopped peanuts (salted or honey roasted)
- 2 cups chopped peanut butter cups (plus extra for garnish)
- ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add peanut butter and mix well.
- Slowly add milk and pudding mix, whisking until thickened.
- Fold in 1 cup whipped cream.
- Cut chocolate cake into cubes.
- In a large glass trifle dish, layer: chocolate cake pieces, peanut butter cream mixture, whipped cream, chopped peanut butter cups + peanuts.
- Repeat layers until dish is full.
- Top with a final layer of whipped cream.
- Garnish with extra peanut butter cups, peanuts, and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving so flavors meld together.

- For a richer flavor, use homemade chocolate cake.
- Ensure the cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
