A dreamy no-bake dessert featuring soft strawberry layers and fluffy whipped cream, perfect for summer.
Ingredients
- Strawberry cake mix (or sponge cake) – 1 box (baked and cooled, cut into layers)
- Strawberry gelatin (Jell-O) – 1 packet (3 oz), dissolved
- Heavy whipping cream – 2 cups
- Powdered sugar – ½ cup
- Cream cheese – 8 oz, softened
- Fresh strawberries – for garnish
- Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
- Milk – ½ cup (for cream cheese layer)
Instructions
- Bake strawberry cake (or use pre-baked sponge). Slice into thin layers for stacking.
- Beat heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Blend softened cream cheese with milk until smooth. Gently fold into half of the whipped cream to create a creamy middle layer.
- Place one layer of strawberry cake at the bottom of a dish.
- Spread cream cheese layer, then whipped cream layer.
- Repeat until dish is filled, ending with whipped cream on top.
- Refrigerate at least 4–6 hours (overnight preferred).
- Garnish with whole fresh strawberries before serving.
Notes
- For best results, chill overnight.
- Use fresh strawberries for garnish to enhance flavor and presentation.
